RE:VERSE

RE:VERSE — Endless Poem for Alternate Identities, in glitched red, white and cyan lettering

Endless poem for alternate identities

Explore the work

A glitch-poetry experience exploring the unstable nature of one's own identity.

Two fragmented faces flicker and transform, their eyes obscured by ambigrammatic words that form an ever-changing poem. Reflected in a central mirror, the faces overlap to create a third, unstable identity, while the words reverse to reveal double meanings.

Resembling fugitives from a virtual world, the avatars continuously shift between recognition and anonymity. Neither their identities nor their stories remain fixed. The ambiguity of language mirrors the fragmentation of identity, where every reversal offers another interpretation of who we are.
